Temperature and humidity
In different climax temperatures and humidity can vary a lot from spring, summer, and autumn to winter. Wood contracts during dry winter and expands during humid summertime. This can cause tonal changes, buzzing, open seams or even cracks.
Don't have your instrument in extreme climax difference. For example, in a car a hot summer day. If your instrument has been cold outside in wintertime, please wait a quarter of an hour when you are back inside, before you open your case. Let the temperature change slowly.
Advice: Since most of the time in Hong Kong is humid, please put a dehumidifier bag inside your violin case and change it regularly. Better check the humidity and temperature with the indicator inside. Alert if it is too high or low. Store your instrument inside the storage room rather than just leave it open in the case in your room/living room.
溫度與濕度
在不同的氣候中，溫度和濕度從春、夏、秋到冬季可能會有很大差異。木材在乾燥的冬季收縮，而在潮濕的夏季膨脹。這可能會導致走音、拉奏時發嗡嗡聲、甚至導致出現裂縫。
不要把你的樂器放進去極端氣候炎熱的夏天在車裡。如果您的樂器在冬天以外的時候很冷 - 在您回到室內後等待幾分鐘，然後再打開您的箱子。讓溫度慢慢變化。
建議：由於香港大部分時侯比較潮濕，請在小提琴盒內放一個吸濕包並且需定期更換。最好琴盒內有指示器檢查濕度和溫度。要時常留意住濕度和溫度，若太高或太低，便作適當的調節。請將樂器存放在儲存室內，避免只打開盒放在房間/客廳中。
